For workshops and the climbers they resole
RAToM rubber is three compounds of one material: Grand Prix racing-slick rubber, hand-processed in Japan. This is not a cheap substitute for Italian factory rubber. Ask your workshop which sheet belongs on the climbing shoe.
The compound is a resole decision, not a shopping-cart decision. Hardness, the last, the terrain, and how fast the climber wears RAToM rubber all sit with the cobbler. If you climb in Europe, start with a RAToM partner workshop.

Flagship sheet. Cut from the highest-friction slicks we currently process. For a workshop, this is the limited bin: use it when the climber has asked for that compound and the shoe can take a very soft performance sole. It is not the volume stock.
The sheet most partner shops should keep on the wall. Soft enough to smear, precise enough for indoor and mixed use. On a very small edge it can feel too soft. That is the trade, not a defect.
Same origin rubber, firmer durometer. Better when the last needs support or the climber trains often. It will not smear like GP1. It should last longer under that use.
RAToM rubber is not virgin climbing rubber from a tyre-compound factory line. It is not Vibram XS at a lower price. It is reclaimed racing slick, cut and finished by hand in Japan, then sent to European resolers for climbing shoes.
