Born on the Track.
Proven on the Rock.

Scroll to witness the transformation

01: The Origin

Grand Prix.
Racing Slick.

Rubber pushed to its absolute limit on circuits that demand perfection. This is where our compound begins its life.

02: The Rebirth

Reclaimed.
Reborn.

What others discard, we transform. Hand-processed in Japan: the same rubber, reborn with purpose.

03: GP Rubber

Sustainable Rubber.
Uncompromising Grip.

The Compound

GP Rubber.

Three compounds. All born from the same Grand Prix racing slick: reclaimed, hand-processed, and ready to perform on rock, wall, and everything in between.

GP Zero climbing shoe rubber — flagship compound
Flagship Compound
GP ZERO

GP ZERO is the most limited and performance-focused compound in the RAToM range. Made from the highest-friction racing slicks currently available, it is designed for athletes who want maximum grip, maximum friction, and the closest possible connection between rubber and surface. Built for serious climbing, hard projects, and moments where every foot placement matters.

Performance Compound
GP1

GP1 is the core performance compound of the RAToM range. The conventional way

How conventional climbing rubber is made.

01

Natural and synthetic rubber sourced globally, including natural latex from Southeast Asia and petrochemical-based polymers.

02

Raw materials transported internationally to industrial compounding facilities before processing.

03

Energy-intensive sulphur-based vulcanisation using heat, pressure, and chemical accelerators to create new rubber compounds.

04

Finished rubber sheets distributed through multi-stage global supply chains before reaching workshops.

The RATOM way

We turn industrial waste into unmatched grip.

01

Grand Prix racing slicks reach the end of their race life. The compound has already been pushed to its absolute limit, and perfected under conditions most materials never survive.

02

Collected instead of discarded, these slicks are sent to our workshop in Japan. No new raw materials. No virgin rubber required.

03

Hand-processed by craftsmen in Japan. The compound is already exceptional. We don't reinvent it. We reclaim it.

04

GP Rubber sheets distributed across Europe, to resole workshops. The same rubber that survived the circuit, now under your feet on the rock.

Handcrafted in Japan

Made by hand.
Not by machine.

Every sheet of GP Rubber is hand-processed in Japan by craftsmen who treat material like an art form. This isn't mass production: it's the kind of care and precision that the Japanese have applied to their craft for generations. The result is a rubber sheet with consistency, character, and performance that no automated factory line can replicate.
